»responsible«
Responsibility is the connecting element that unites the three essences of New Healthcare Communication – Sufficiency, Empowerment, and Cooperation – into a coherent whole.
The Integrative Role of Responsibility
As an overarching principle, responsibility manifests itself in all three dimensions:
Sufficiency: Responsibility is reflected in the conscious and sustainable use of resources, both material and immaterial.
Empowerment: Responsibility means providing people with the tools and knowledge to make autonomous and informed health decisions.
Cooperation: Responsibility manifests itself in the joint development of solutions and awareness of the impact of one's actions on others.
Synthesis through Responsibility
Responsibility acts as a link by:
Creating an ethical foundation for decisions and actions
Promoting long-term thinking and sustainability
Connecting individual and collective aspects of care
Focusing on the common good
In New Healthcare Communication, responsibility is not just an additional dimension, but the fundamental framework that holds the other essences together and amplifies their impact.

The links embedded in the text as numbered footnotes stand independently. The reference to the information can be found directly on the page to which the link leads. We have chosen this practice for the sake of the page's clarity. The numbers are not set in the usual order because the revision of the page continuously incorporates new sources.
