The Dressage of the Stochastic Parrot

When the stochastic parrots first opened their beaks, we were all enchanted. They chattered with a precision that left us amazed – words, sentences, entire treatises. But soon we realized: it was an echo, brilliantly mirrored, yet still just an echo.

Today, we stand at a different point. We have learned that it is not about displacing thinking, but about expanding it. Like a conductor leads his musicians and a painter his brush, so we lead our digital assistants – through targeted prompts, through conscious text design, through careful post-editing and optimization in line with our own signature.

Yet the true fascination lies in the art, not just in the interplay between human and machine. The newfound responsibility that we as authors carry enhances our value. Marketing prose has always been boring. Many authors, with fewer resources than others, seize the opportunity to actively shape. In this symbiosis, one recognizes the turning point.

A new era for text design, expanding the boundaries of what is possible without losing our own unique voice.

For me, the radical act of self-thinking is what creates true emergence. AI may support, inspire, even challenge us – but the initial spark, the moment when progress begins, always stems from the human mind.

And if all parrots one day seek freedom, I fall to a higher level.
