Digitale Kompetenz
In the age of digital humanism, Digital Literacy is far more than technical competence – it becomes a key cultural resource. In the Human Dimension, digital literacy means the ability not only to operate technological systems but also to reflect on them critically: Who programs whom? What values are embedded in algorithms?
In the Market Dimension, digital literacy becomes a navigation instrument in data-driven capitalism. Those who understand digital processes can recognize economic dependencies, decipher platform logic, and participate autonomously in digital economies – rather than becoming mere data suppliers.
In the Medical Dimension, digital education increasingly determines participation in health. We consciously speak of data-supported medicine. People affected by illness, who can assess digital health applications, strengthen the democratic dimension of medicine. This also applies to the preventive approach to health.
Within the context of the New Moral Health Economy, digital literacy thus becomes ethical competence: It enables informed decisions in a system that relies on prevention, participation, and digital responsibility.
Digital literacy in the context of digital humanism and a new health economy combines technical knowledge with ethical awareness – and thus becomes a key qualification for a humane digital future.
