The term "hospital" is used in an inflationary manner to justify investments without providing concrete content. The emotional addition, while a hospital reform takes effect by 2029, raises doubts about the seriousness.

These days, I notice more than ever that the term #hospital is turning into a cliché when mentioned after the third comma in a list to justify special funds (infrastructure).
The current inflationary mention of an intention to care for hospitals strikes me as a clumsy and emotional addition, meant to blind the public to a sensitive issue while a decided hospital reform with a development plan until 2029 has just come into force.
The concrete sentence in the exploratory paper on this is not even there. It simply mentions hospital investments; indeed, in third place (→ p.2). Later (→ p.10), there is the sentence brimming with arbitrariness ...
We stand for a needs-based hospital provision in the city and in the country.
What is meant by this is not further explained. At the very least, the sentence can be interpreted as confirmation of the claim enshrined in the Basic Law (Art. 74 Sentence 19a GG) of the competitive legislation imposed (between the federal and state governments). It states that »the economic security of hospitals and the regulation of hospital care rates« must be ensured.
